MAC is introducing two new faces to the MAC Aids Foundation.

Drumroll please..........

Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper!!

They will be featured in the newest campaign called "From Our Lips" and is slated to launch February 25th. The two new products include Viva Glam GaGa Lipstick and Viva Glam Cyndi Lipstick, which will hit shelves on March 18th in the States. 100 percent of the proceeds from the $14 lipstick will be donated to the MAC AIDS Fund.

I can't wait to see what the colors will look like!! Come on March!

When you see Burberry you think plaid and the perfume...did you think you ever add makeup to that? Well now you can. The label is set to launch in July, the collection will be comprised of about 100 color products for eyes, lips, and skin. The line will be carried in about 30 stores globally, including some Nordstroms here in the US.

I can't wait to see what the packaging looks like and the colors....we can only wait and see.

Breast Cancer Awareness feat. Glamour Doll Eyes

Prepping Your Skin

Before applying makeup do you always prep your skin? Prepping the skin is the best way to get more what you pay for. In this I mean, longer lasting foundation. How great would that be, to have the least amount of touch-up throughout the day, and any busy girl would agree less touch-ups=happiness..Now here is a simple checklist that you can use when applying that makeup.

Moisturize. Always moisturize face that has an SPF of 15 or greater. With the added sunscreen you protect yourself from the damage the sun can cause. Let moisturizer set for about 10-15 minutes.
Primer. Applying a primer adds to the longevity of your makeup. It also fills in small holes or wrinkles for a smoother canvas. Some primers even help out even the skin tone for some who have patchy color.
Chapstick. Just as you face is important so are those lips. They can too burn from sun. So always use chapstick, then of course gloss and or lipstick!

Hope this helps with some things you can use before you apply your foundation.

Summer Tips

Its summer and now the days are getting hot. Here are some tips that I wanted to share, so that everyone can be safe in that HOT sun.

Sunblock!!! Always wear sunblock with a high SPF to protect yourself from those UVA, UVB rays! For face I use the Murad Oil-Free sunblock SPF 30. Its waterproof, so when you want to swim or in the ocean you still have that protection. And the Body any sunscreen is good. Just check the SPF. The higher the better.

TIP: Don't forget to reapply every hour or so. Your face is the most sensitive, and no one wants to wrinkles!!

Hats. Hats are another way to keep that sun away from your face. So bring out those baseball and cowboy hats!

WATER!! Drink lots and lots of water. Keeps you hydrated and its good for your body!

So everyone please stay cool and NOT sunburned this summer! But HAVE FUN!

EOTD using Deep Blue Green Pigment

Here is a look I did with the deep blue green pigment I bought from the MAC F&F sale. I used deep blue green all over my lid with club eyeshadow in the crease to tone down the harsh lines. Then vanilla on the brow bone. Hope this gives you an idea the color payoff you get from the pigment.

1. The 272 brush

It is a angle shading brush that you can you for more precise application. I like this brush for doing crease shading and for the color not to go everywhere. I have more control with this brush. But this brush just like any brush is versatile and you can use it for anything you desire!!

2. Deep Blue Green Pigment

This is the most prettiest pigment color I have ever seen. The name of the pigment pretty much describes exactly the color tone to it. My ideas for this color is to do a dark smokey eye. Instead of doing the everyday black/brown, black/silver smokey, this color would just absolutley look amazing.

3. Mineralize Skinfinish in Perfect Topping

I bought this color thinking summer. I wanted a nice pretty highlight for those summer nights. The color is marble with gold,tans,peaches and purples all mixed together with little flects of gold. This would just bring out any tan you might be working on or just to add some glow to you would be perfect. This I do agree is the 'Perfect Topping' for any face!

4. Balckberry eyeshadow

This is not a product that they are not getting rid of, this is part of their permanent line. This is a matte purple with grey undertones. This is a good all over shadow or even for a crease color and/or eyeliner.

China Glaze Neon Polish

China Glaze has a line of Neon colors that I am LOVING. At first when you put the on the finish isn't glossy its very matte. But once you add the clear polish it will definitely shine.

Yesterday I put on my sister the color 'Rose among thorns (neon)'. And OMG its this bright pink orange color to gorgeous to describe. I suggest that you try at least one neon color from the line. With summer right around the color, it fits perfect!

The 10 Beauty Mistakes That Add 10 Years

So its been awhile. I am back now. Here is some tips and tricks to avoid looking older than you should look. I was reading Allure Magazine and saw this and thought I'd share it with you. Enjoy!!

1. Thick Foundation:
Choose a sheer foundation or tinted moisturizer (such as Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20), and after you apply it, press a damp makeup sponge into areas where you have wrinkles to soak up any excess.

2. Base that's too light:
Foundation that's paler than your natural skin tone exaggerates fine lines. As you get older if you have olive skin for instance you should go a bit warmer. Switch to a hue that's one or two shades darker and has luminescent particles, such as Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk.

3. Heavy Concealer on dark circles:
The skin under the eyes gets thinner as we age, making thick cover-up look like concrete. Keep it light ( like Lancôme Effacernes Waterproof Protective Undereye Concealer), and apply it with a brush. The brush distributes the color more evenly. And put it only on dark areas, not under the entire eye.

4. Face powder on top of lines:
Powder is fine for reducing shine on the nose and the chin, but on other parts of the face it exaggerates wrinkles and can make skin look too dry. Avoid the eye area completely.

5. Blush on the apples of the cheeks:
It draws attention to sagging skin. Instead, apply color on the highest point on your cheekbones, not too close to the nose, and lift it upward with a brush that's large enough to cover the whole cheekbone. Skip the drama queen shades, too. A neutral rose color flatters all skin tones and really brightens things up. (Like Nars Blush in Mata Hari.)

6. Lipstick that migrates:
Your natural lip line can begin to fade as you age, which makes lipstick more prone to bleeding and feathering. Tracing it with one of the new clear lip liners can help the color stay put.

7. Major lipstick:
Bright colors, dark shades, and anything metallic or iridescent are too heavy for thinning lips. Instead, choose a neutral rose shade. And consider switching from a lipstick to a sheer gloss—it will give you more fullness.

8. Mascara in the lower lashes:
It highlights crow's-feet. And dark circles. Coat your top lashes with the blackest black mascara you can find—it will make the whites of your eyes look clearer and whiter. It's also best to avoid superthick formulas that don't separate easily. Lashes get dryer as we age, making mascara more likely to clump and fall onto your face. (Try Cover Girl LashExact Mascara or Lancôme High Définicils High Definition Mascara.) And don't forget your curler. Curling your lashes is the easiest thing you can do to make your eyes look bigger—and therefore younger.

9. Eyeliner on the lower lashes:
All that does is make your eyes look smaller and draw attention to dark circles. Stick to the upper lids—and make the line thicker toward the outer corners, where eyes have a tendency to droop as we age.

10. Sparkly shadow on the outer corners:
A little shimmer is flattering and keeps eye makeup from looking too stark, but at the outer corners, it magnifies every fine line. Restrict sparkle and shimmer to the inner corners, the centers of the lids, and just on the brow bones.

Favourite Beauty Products for March

So the end of March is right around the corner, and I wanted to share with you my favourite products that I am loving! No paticular order.

1. Its a 10

This shampoo I just have been using for about a month or so, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Ive used the leave in conditioner before and the last time I got my hair done, my stylist mentioned the shampoo, and of course I had to try this. So lets talk product. At first when I used it, it didn't lather well and I was a little disappointed. Then after using it more and more I realized that my hair had to be SOAKING wet. So now I am noticing my hair to be full soft and easier for me to manage my curls. They say the product is nutrition for your hair. With Vitamin C Sunflower Seed Extract Acai Extract Ginger Pomegranate Tahitian Noni Oil Moringa Extract. I really would recommend this product. I rate this product a 4.5, only cause of the lathering can take a little longer than your typical shampoo but result wise its a great shampoo.

2. Kajal Eye Liner by StilaSo this eyeliner is my all time favourite! I think its my favourite for the whole year!! LOL. This eyeliner is the best and darkest liner I've ever had. They way it applies on my waterline is amazing. Not like other liners where you have to keep on applying over and working up the color, this one is a one swiper! I wouldnt recommend this too much for the lashine or lower. It is really smudgy so you can get bleeding look. But for the waterline I truly truly love. I rate this product also a 4.5.

3. Naked by China Glaze

My number 3 pick is the China Glaze polish in Make an Entrance. I just made a trip to Sallys and went on a nail polish buying binge. I bought about 5 different colors, and dont get me wrong i LOVE all the colors, but I am really into this color. It such a beautiful purple, just perfect for spring/summer. So ladies, for the spring/summer go for the bright and pastel colors. I rate this product a 5.

4. Hempz Herbal Moisturizer
This is a herbal moisturizer is made to hydrate skin using Natural Hemp Seed Extract and pure vitamin E. It also says it helps reduce the appearance of fine lines ad wrinkles, provides up to12 hours of miniaturization and he skin will appear softer and smoother instantly. Now with all those statements I cant help but say its all true. This lotion lasts all day. Usually other lotions I have to reapply. But not with this. The smell is also amazing. Its so refreshing. I rate this product a 5!!

And for my last item, is this perfume by Philosophy. I think this perfume is so refreshing and clean. This perfume isn't too strong which makes it the perfect day perfume. I think this is the best summer perfume after a long day at the beach. I rate this a 5.
